CODE OF CONDUCT

The aim of the Kwality Kiz Dance School is to ensure that all students experience dance in a fun, friendly, positive and safe environment. In order to achieve this, please take note of the following guidelines.

Any student unable or unwilling to profit from the education provided at the school may be asked to withdraw from the class or event within a reasonable notice.

Class Participation

All dancers are expected to focus and pay attention to the dance teacher's instructions and therefore limit the amount of side conversation and cell phone use during class time.

All dancers will be friendly, warm, and welcoming to the other dancers at the studio and in their classes. We encourage dancers to establish new friendships with their peers in class, and we enforce teamwork and fairness.

All dancers observing a class while it is in progress, whether out of interest or due to sickness or injury, are expected to be quiet and courteous to the dancers, dance teachers, and assistants.

Attendance

All dancers are expected to attend classes weekly, participate to the best of their ability, and put forth 100% effort, energy, and enthusiasm. Regular attendance is extremely important. If students do not attend on a regular basis, then the development of the class and the individual student will be affected. Students’ attendance will be monitored on a weekly basis and those who fail to attend classes and additional lessons may be withdrawn.

Punctuality

It is vital that students arrive to class on time. Those arriving late for class may miss important information and impede the learning of others.

Discipline

All dancers are expected to demonstrate respect for all instructors, assistants, staff members, and fellow students. Pupils are expected to behave in an orderly, civilized and well-mannered way and to show respect to their teachers, assistants and other students when attending any Kwality Kiz classes or event. Bullying of any form is not tolerated at Kwality Kiz. Failure to comply with the rules and regulations may result in withdrawal.

Reporting Incidents

Harassment or aggressive/abusive behavior of any kind is not tolerated from anyone. All customer incidents should be reported to Kwality Kiz leadership and will be investigated accordingly. Any customer incident reported to leadership may result in the subject of the allegation being suspended, with the possibility of being fully withdrawn from the Dance School. Serious incidents may result in immediate withdrawal from all Kwality Kiz events.

Studio & Personal Property

All dancers must treat the studios, the premises, and the possessions of all other dancers with respect, care, and consideration. Dancers are expected to clean up after themselves and any mess that they create while at the studio.

All dancers will neatly store their belongings and will respect the belongings of others. Students should make sure that they keep their valuable personal items with them at all times. We cannot be held responsible if items go missing.
